Strawberry Whipped Cream Trifle

Ingredients

Your favorite store bought pound cake or Voodoo cake or angel food cake or vanilla meringue.

4 cups sliced berries. With 1 tablespoon of sugar mixed in.

1 cup of washed , dry berries

2 cups of whipping cream

¼ powdered sugar

Method

1)      Get a large glass display bowl ready for the desert

2)      Whip cream in metal bowl. When peaks begin to form, add sugar as your beat. Beat until the cream is firm.

3)      Cut up cake into cubes.

4)      Spread a third of the cream in the bottom of the bowl.

5)      Spread half the cake on the cream.

6)      Top with 2 cups of berries.

7)      Top with a third of the cream – spread lightly with a spatula.

8)      Top with the rest of the cake.

9)      Top with the 2 cups of berries

10)  Top with the rest of the cream. Spread carefully with cream.

11)  Decorate top with whole berries.
