Volunteer Opportunities - Volunteer one or two hours on market day or take a "behind the scenes" role that you can do from home.
For each market day volunteers are needed for:
- 2 volunteers at the Kid's Connection booth from 2:45pm-4:30pm (set up/1st shift)
- 2 volunteers at the Kid's Connection booth from 4:30pm-6:15pm (2nd shift)
- 2 volunteers at the Kid's Connection booth from 5:45pm-7:00pm (3rd shift/clean up)
- 1 volunteer for the Healthy Living booth from 2:15-4:15 (set up/1st shift)
- 1 volunteer for the Healthy Living booth from 4:00pm-6:00pm (2nd shift/demo help)
- 1 volunteer for the Healthy Living booth from 5:45pm-7:45pm (3rd shift/tear down)
- 4 volunteers for tear down from 7:30pm-8:30pm
- musical talent to play during the market
For behind the scenes we need volunteers to:
- put up and tear down A-frame market signs at four locations in downtown Camas each Wednesday morning and eveing
- help with PR and Marketing (basic graphic design work)
- plan special events (book swap, dog show, berry days)
- support the special event planners
- help with Education and Outreach
- be on the Farm to Table Gala committee
- assist Fundraising and Sponsorship
- coordinate volunteers (database input and reporting, phone calling or e-mailing)
